The CFC FAST (Firefighter Assist and Search) team was deployed to a structure fire call in Niskayuna a little after 6am on July 17th.  Upon arrival there was a heavy smoke condition and confirmed fire on the first floor.  The fire eventually spread to the second floor and up through the roof.  Our Crews immediately laddered the building for a possible rescue scenario.  It took crews roughly an hour to get the fire under control. Everyone went home safe!
