the Town and Village of Colonie with the following goals in mind:
- To provide the highest possible level of protection of life and property to the residents
and visitors of the Town and Village of Colonie and our surrounding communities under
the Town of Colonie Fire Services Mutual Aid Plan and as set forth in our Company’s
Standard Operating Procedures;
- To provide fire suppression, rescue, fire safety, fire prevention and emergency
services to our community;
- To promote interest in all matters relative to the volunteer fire service and to further the
welfare and social advances of all volunteer firefighters;
- To instill good citizenship, civic virtue and self-sacrifice, and to carry on in the spirit of the
volunteer firefighter to provide service to their community of the highest type in the protection
of life and property from fire without hope of renumeration or reward;
- To promote the improvement and advancement of our community and its residents; and
- To conduct the business of the Colonie Fire Company with professionalism, fiscal responsibility
and the understanding that we are accountable to the residents of the Town and Village of Colonie
for our actions and performance.
