Fire Prevention week has arrived here at Colonie Fire Company.  We started a little early this past Thursday with a tour and presentation to the children at Head Start.  The kids were taught some of the essentials of fire safety and prevention. Afterwards they had a chance to climb into our trucks and get an up close look.

We will have our annual fire prevention open house this Saturday October 11.

 Events start at 1pm and go until about 4pm.  There will be demonstrations and giveaways as well as free food and station tours. We will have several emergency vehicles from various agencies to come and take a look at too.
