Dear Neighbor,

Once again it is time for the annual Calendar Fund Raising Drive of the Colonie Fire Comapany.  This is the twenty-third (23) year we have provided a Fire Company calendar to Village residents.  Last year we decided to change the format of the calendar.  We were very happy to receive so much positive feedback from out residents.  The Colonie Fire Company is an all volunteer non-profit organization made up of your neighbors.  In 2016 we answered 475 calls for help.  While your tax dollars pay for our equipment and training, we depend our your donations to continue our community service and to support our membership in non firematic activities.  Each year our members devote many hours to training in order to be ready when the pager goes off.  As a result of this training, we are very proud to have received an excellent classification rating for a village fire company.  Your home-owners insurance premiums are reduced as a result of this.

We are also very proud of the support we receive from the business community in the Village.  As such, we urge you to show your support of the businesses that have advertised with us on this calendar.  Please patronize them when possible.

Like many volunteer organizations, we are in need of additional members.  Please consider becoming an active member of our company.  Neighbors helping neighbors is what we are about!  You will experience a great sense of accomplishment and fulfillment.
